Dear subscribers,

It has been an awesome year!

Thank you for reading my content. Thanks for all the comments, emails, and messages you’ve shared with me.

I love helping developers and this year has been an exciting one. Seeing people get new jobs, negotiate raises, start their developer careers from scratch.

This year on the email list we talked about:

  • AI and the supposed “end” of software development
  • High developer salaries, why we create so much value, and how to invest
  • What we can learn from Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover failure
  • Advanced project ideas for experienced developers to grow their skills
  • Habits, routines, and daily practices to beat the Resistance, expand your skills, and reach senior levels
  • The importance of soft skills and communication in your developer career
  • Why technical interviews are broken and insulting for developers
  • Big tech, major layoffs, and why working for the big companies isn’t a good goal

Writing the daily email list is one of my favorite things. I really appreciate you allowing me into your inbox each day.

I hope you and your families are well. Happy new year to everyone.

Here’s to an awesome 2023!

-Bennett
