Great article, thanks for writing! As someone who writes Python all day, this certainly has me thinking.

For fast-moving organizations, it does seem like the lack of support for common libraries and API layers would be a serious time sink into reinventing the wheel. Ultimately, I think that would deter me from starting a production project in Lisp.
