Definitely seen this before and think we will continue to see this into the future. The challenge is whole-team alignment.
My engineering team might build a great new MVP of a feature very quickly, but then the product team needs to document it and customer success needs to be trained on it so they can in turn train customers.
That all takes time, and as a result we can't release the feature until everyone is on the same page. It's a bottleneck to our throughput.
Alignment from top management would mean being okay with placing small bets on MVP features that move fast and documenting the ones that are real winners once we've developed them further.
