I’d love to see any data or architecture details on how the Facebook Newsfeed works and its speed before and after GraphQL.

If increasing performance were as simple as caching+proxy, then Facebook probably wouldn’t have invested years in creating, iterating, and testing GraphQL.

It’s one thing to be critical of GraphQL and its use cases. It’s quite another to dismiss it entirely out of hand.
