Interesting. I worked in an open plan office before the pandemic, too. While I felt it could be distracting at times, the presence of coworkers made me less likely to browse the web aimlessly or something. I'd put in headphones and generally be able to focus.

Now, when I go into the office, I also feel more productive than at home. But that's mostly because my office is like a library - so few people go in!
