Really, really cool. The important part of this for me was not only that these people had interesting side projects, but that they talked about them and shared them publicly.

You can do cool stuff on your own, but if nobody knows about it you won’t get hired for it. Talk about your work, even if it’s not perfect (i.e. < 50% accuracy)!
